The National Farmers’ Federation have announced that regional Australians can access free, independent advice on the best internet and mobile phone connection for their work, study and lifestyle needs with the launch of the Regional Tech Hub (the Hub).

The Hub delivers on recommendations of a 2018 Regional Telecommunications Review and is an initiative of the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications Regional Digital Tech Hub.

The Hub will support people in regional Australia with information to find the right telecommunication solutions for their homes and businesses, and better harness the benefits of connectivity and technology.

The Hub, offers independent advice and support and helps regional Australians navigate phone and internet options and technical issues. Continuing the work of Better Internet for Rural, Regional and Remote Australia (BIRRR) the Hub builds on the valuable services delivered by this volunteer organisation.
